the location was perfect yet it was not very far from downtown area, just 10 minutes by foot.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi was bad.

I always choose this hotel because the staff helped me with places to eat on my first stay. It suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, bar, restaurant, Turkish bath, laundry. I keep coming back for romantic escapes.

The room was absolutely spotless, silent with a garden view and the overall experience was very comfortable. The best location in a historical area was a plus.

Plenty of options for breakfast in the courtyard. The excellent location for the price, very close to the main sights, the Covered Market, and secluded garden. Plenty of food options at a short distance from the venue:)))

A very welcoming atmosphere in a beautiful house, very wel located.. We appreciated the hotels taxiservice picking us up at the busstation and dropping us there when leaving.
the muezin of the big mosque woke us up very early in the morning. If you have a problem with that, bring good quality earplugs !

I had a wonderful stay at Kitapevi in Bursa. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. the hotel is located in the perfect spot, right in the heart of the old city. I stayed in a suite on the top floor with a terrace, and the view was absolutely amazing. the hotel is situated in a quiet area, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay. the outside restaurant is beautifully designed and the food is delicious, yet affordable. If you're looking for a romantic getaway in a perfect location, I highly recommend Kitapevi. Cons: All was good! 😊.

1. Splendid ottoman decoration and beautiful architecture and magnificent view on the old town of Bursa from room and the terrace. 2 Very good breakfast served till late in the morning!
1. the personnel is very helpful but rare are those who speaks English... 2. We had the magnificent roof suit. The only regret was the fact that in the second room the smell (canalization one from the sink due to the air flow system of the building) was so bad that we couldn't use this room for our son. Otherwise all was very clean and beautiful.

The service is very good. The historic character of the hotel is very authentic. Location of the hotel is perfect. The garden is a really nice place for breakfast.
Hotel should provide a bell or something like this at the lobby.

We were thoroughly impressed with the ambiance of the hotel. the 200-year-old property was filled with antiques and had interiors that perfectly matched the era. Our room was spacious and had a comfortable bed, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. the hotel's location was incredibly convenient, allowing easy access to all the main attractions in the city.
We felt very well looked after during our stay and have no complaints whatsoever. the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.

Firstly, as others have highlighted, best arrange the hotel pick up from the city bus terminal, otherwise you'll never find it. The pick up driver is excellent. The first impression of the hotel is of a true boutique hotel, this is only underlined with the fantastic rooms and garden, all enchanting. The staff are friendly and helpful, the attention to detail and ambiance first rate. The location (atop the walls of old town on the hillside) means you will enjoy some exercise walking up steep steps from the old town, but it's very close to the sights.
The greatest let down was the food, both breakfast and dinner. The expectation was of high quality, but we really thought the main chef must have been on vacation. It was disappointingly amateur, the dinner being pre prepared and half reheated. This was a shame as otherwise we really liked our stay.
